STATE PARK HOURS AND FEES – FALL CHANGES
Red Rock State Park Hours
Extended weekend hours End September 3
The park will continue to stay open until dusk on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through Sunday, September 3. For more information on park hours and fees: RedRockStatePark.
Daily nature hikes begin at 10 a.m. starting September 1
Wednesday and Saturday birding walks begin at 8 a.m. starting September 2.

Sedona Farmer’s Market…
The Sedona Farmer’s Market has moved to Friday mornings from 8 to 11:30 a.m.on the creek side at Tlaquepaque from May 19 to September 29.
September 8: Partner Orientation

The SCC&TB is hosting a Partner Orientation meeting on Friday, September 8, at the Best Western PLUS Arroyo Roble Hotel, located at 400 N SR 89A in Uptown. The meeting begins at 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., with free coffee and pastries.

September 8: Red Rocks Music Festival
The Red Rocks Music Festival Kicks off its 16th season on Friday, September 8. The four programs include: Dueling Piano Divas, World Music, Classical Jewels and From Tempest to the Silver Age. September 9: Free Community Day
Snap Fitness is free to local residents the second Saturday of the month through the end of the year. Open to the public 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. September 9. Workouts are emailed to those who opt-in at bit.ly/ws-free-fit. Trainers in VOC, Sedona and Cottonwood will lead a 30-minute routine 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. “What’s Your Fit?” is designed to help people find what works for them and to have more fun by bringing friends. Be sure not to miss the 45th Annual Fiesta del Tlaquepaque, remembering Mexican Independence Day on Saturday, September 9 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Bring family and friends for South of the Border entertainment with folkorico dancers in gorgeous traditional costumes, heart-pounding fiery flamenco dancing and a fabulous infusion of amazing food. Free admission and parking is available at the Uptown municipal parking lot with continuous shuttle service to and from Fiesta.

Sept 10: Phil Rossi on the Baby Grand Piano
Phil Rossi’s music will take you back in time…from Cole Porter and the Gershwin’s, up to Billy Joel, creating memories of long ago… Rossi’s mother, Lillian, was a musician, and taught Phil the basics of the piano when he was eight years old. From that point, he progressed by practicing until he was sixteen years old, at which point he formed a trio with two neighborhood friends- a drummer and bass player. He then began his career by playing church socials, school sock hops etc.

‘The Trip to Spain’ Film Premiere

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “The Trip to Spain” — an outrageous comedy by Michael Winterbottom, starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon — showing Sept. 8-13 at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. After jaunts through northern England and Italy, Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon embark on another deliciously deadpan culinary road trip. This time around, the guys head to Spain to sample the best of the country’s gastronomic offerings.
