September 11: Dog Park Construction Begins
Renovation construction of the Sedona Dog Park has begun causing the park to be closed for approximately 60 days. The park is scheduled to reopen to the public on November 11. Closing the park is necessary to ensure the safety of pets and people.

October 13: Sedona Pottery Celebrates 50 Years of Fire and Clay

October 14: Snap Fitness Free on Second Saturday

On Saturday, October 14, Snap Fitness Int’l is hosting the public for another free day to encourage folks to have more fun working out by going to the gym with friends. Hours in Cottonwood, West Sedona and VOC are 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Trainers will be on hand to help until about 11:30 a.m. Any and all fitness levels are welcome in this judgment-free zone. October 15-16 & 21-22: En Plein Air – Sketching Arizona Birds of Prey

The Arizona Natural History Association, in partnership with Runnin’ W Wildlife Center, is offering En Plein Air partially-guided drawing classes using a live rescue bird as a model. Classes are for artists and bird enthusiasts alike and will take place October 15-16 and 21-22.
